I'm trying get the software to work with my Canon FS10 with no luck. Do you know if the Canon FS10 is a compatible camera? When I run the software I don't see it listed. All I see is my webcam.

Thanks!

PowerSurge,

Couple things.
1. The camera must be on and recognized by the computer before you open the software
2. The camera must be on camera mode so it's capturing LIVE signal. Sometime these cameras default to VCR mode and only want to push whatever is on the tape or hard drive
2a. You can test this by opening another program like Windows Movie Maker and seeing if it can capture a live signal from your camera. If it does, then it should work with Instant Video Presenter.

Regards,

Thanks for the reply... I connected the FS10 (in live video mode) via USB cable to my laptop and then fired up Windows Movie Maker. I didn't see any options for working with a live camera feed so I think I might be out of luck using the FS10 with IVP. :-(

FWIW, I CAN download images and videos off the camera to the computer so I know the USB connection is working ok.
